My NBN was legitimately down today. I got a call from this no. For over two hours said he was nbn they were fixing the software online. I fell for it totally coz my internet was broken. However he tried to send a Telstra form to be completed. I couldn’t download it so he did it for me then said they wld send new modem but I must pay postage. Then I said no why should I. Eventually he hung up. But so convincing trying to sort out the wifi. Just really fortunate we couldn’t get anything to work. Had my nbn been working I wouldn’t have responded. But what a coincidence. Said his name was Michael.

Just called me and they were now the CBA notifying me of a payment by John Smith from the USA!

Got a call from this number telling me that he was from the Commonwealth Bank. He hung up when I started asking questions. Had an accent,

The caller said they were from Telstra technical department. Started telling me my internet was sending off malicious signals and if I give him remote access to my computer he could fix it for me. I played along for a while but he ended up getting angry with me and called me a f**ken B**ch and end call.
